@fgtech That looks almost exactly like my great-grandmother’s sewing machine! Except it doesn’t have the big Singer and either it was dark wood/stain or has decades of crud on it 😉
@smokey The treadle-style appliance was quite high-tech back in the day, I guess. Here is a view that shows the whole machine.
@smokey I suspect many of these decorative accents were acquired via estate sales.
@fgtech Yes, I imagine so—there was at least one more different style treadle machine in my grandparents’ garage when we cleaned it out.
