All of this is spot on: Tech Companies Are Irrational Pop Cultures
While there are some excellent exceptions, this seems to be the rule. And the problem seems exacerbated by public companies since stock traders also inhabit an irrational pop culture.

A scary story for Halloween
John Deere is trying to control how their customers use and repair the equipment they buy. This is forcing farmers to overpay for repairs or disable environmental controls so they can harvest crops on time.
Tell the EPA this is not okay.
